About Me:
My name is Ms. Perez and this is my 5th year with the Alliance. I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I currently live in Los Angeles with my husband (Eddie), two boys (Ethan & Adrian) and my dog (Bleu). I went to CSULA, where I earned a major in Child Development, a minor in Chicano Studies and my Multiple Subject Credential. Before I joined Alliance, I worked in a Spanish Immersion School, where I taught 1st and 2nd grade. After 4 years of working in the primary grades in Santa Monica, I felt the need to give back to the community I had grown up in. I am very passionate about teaching, especially to the kids in this particular community; I see myself in my students. My goal is to give hope, support and knowledge so my students can be successful academically and socially. Si Se Puede! Yes, we can!
